Joseph Badolato - Chief Strategy Officer

Joe Badolato brings vision, adaptability, and hands-on industry experience to his role as CANY’s Chief Strategy Officer. With a background working on building enclosures of existing buildings of all ages and the development of modern buildings, he played a key role in aligning CANY’s operations with its long-term goals, expanding beyond New York City, and empowering the next generation of leaders to carry forward the company’s ethos of trust, innovation, and excellence. Joe’s leadership emphasizes strategic growth, mentoring, and cultivating a collaborative culture where team members thrive.

  


Vincent Ortiz - Director of Professional Services

As Director of Professional Services, Vincent Ortiz serves as applicant of record and special inspector, while also combining technical oversight with hands-on involvement and mentorship. His experience spans building enclosure investigations, restoration design, forensics, design consulting, construction administration, and special inspections. Drawn to the point where design on the page meets execution in the field, he focuses on building systems that make good work consistent and scalable, supporting teams with the tools, standards and guidance they need to succeed. What motivates him most is the chance to solve problems that are practical, collaborative, and built to last.

  

Jennifer Murphy

Jennifer Murphy thrives in the world of possibilities, especially the unpredictable ones. Embracing Murphy’s Law as motivation, she plans meticulously and adapts quickly, shaping how she leads as a Project Manager. Equipped with a civil engineering degree, Jennifer combines a love of technical problem-solving with a strong sense of teamwork. Known for her foresight and strategic mindset, she excels at pre-planning, anticipating risks and designing effective solutions, all with a steady composure and an optimistic outlook.

  • CANY's offices are easy to reach by subway. The closest stop is 28th Street on the N/R/W (Broadway), about a one-block walk. Also nearby are the 28th Street stop on the 1 (Seventh Avenue) and the 28th Street stop on the 6 (Park Avenue South), each just a few blocks away.

  • The 34th Street–Herald Square hub (B/D/F/M/N/Q/R/W and PATH) is a short walk north and connects most major lines.

Parking

  • A parking garage is located across the street from our office, making drive-in access simple. Additional garages are available on the surrounding blocks.
